Naperville Sunrise Rotary has a comprehensive program for supporting
the Tikondane Community Centre. Naperpalooza is providing
funding for the educational efforts in the community. Thank you
for your support!
In addition to education in Tikondane, our Rotary efforts include
clean water (e.g., water wells, irrigation, etc.), medical supplies, and
general supplies. Naperpalooza provides an opportunity to collect
supplies from the public to include in our shipping container being sent
to Tikondane (below).

NAPERVILLE DONATIONS TO ZAMBIA AT NAPERPALOOZA!
Here is the chance to have a significant and direct impact on an impoverished community in Africa. One of Naperpalooza’s beneficiaries is Tikondane Zambia and the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise is sending a container to Africa. We are asking for your donations to help fill the container before its anticipated departure the middle of February. The container will be at Naperpalooza so bring items you would like to donate and get a peek at what we are sending, as well as pictures of the community itself. Bicycles for the aids caregivers, clothes, shoes, used eyeglasses, watches, medical aids, and devices for the local hospital, and used computers for the school are all needed.
Please open your hearts, your closets and your garages and bring us those items that can benefit these deserving souls.

NAPERPALOOZA WANTS YOUR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS!
Another of Naperpalooza’s beneficiaries is the Pas Christian, MS school music programs. Katrina dealt a horrible blow to the school community and it still hasn’t fully recovered. In keeping with the Education and Arts programs the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise supports, we are collecting used musical instruments that you may have laying around the house and sending them to the schools to help revitalize their once proud music programs. So please don’t forget to bring them with you – we will be collecting them at Naperpalooza.

Pursuit of Life Awards is a
scholarship program that makes financial scholarships to local needy
student(s) so they can attend a program of their choice after
graduation from high school. This program is administered by
the Rotary Club. For more details, see our
Lastly, we are also raising funds to
further education in Zambia, Africa. We have a long term
relationship with a community center called Tikondane in Zambia,
one of the poorest nations in Africa. We are adopting a holistic
approach to helping the 30 surrounding villages become self
sustaining. Education is a critical piece of that development. We
are planning on funding a permanent school structure. For more
